Who can contact Soko Healthcare?
Nursing professionals who would like to explore direct-hire roles are welcome to apply. Tell us what you are looking for so Soko Healthcare can learn about your goals.
Link to this answerWhat is the Soko Nurse Network, and how do I join?
It is a private, referral-built community of nurses that Soko Healthcare curates for direct-hire roles. You can join by referral from a member or by applying on this site. A registered nurse reviews every application.
Link to this answerI am not actively looking. Should I still join?
Yes. Many members join before they need a change. Tell us what would make you move (the unit, the schedule, the commute, the pay), and we reach out only when a role fits it. Your details go only to employers that may hire you.
Link to this answerWill my current employer know I applied?
No. Soko Healthcare shares your details only with prospective employers, to find you a role, as your agreement with Soko allows, and never contacts your current employer unless you ask us to.
Link to this answerIs there a longer application?
Yes. After the short application, the full application asks for your license number and expiration, your nursing education, your two most recent jobs, and two professional references. It takes about 10 minutes, and we need it before we can introduce you to a facility.
Link to this answerWho reviews my application?
A registered nurse. Soko Healthcare was founded by Leah Sokolovsky, RN, and every application is read by someone who understands units, patient loads, and schedules, not just keywords on a résumé.
Link to this answerWhat happens after I submit an inquiry?
After a successful submission, Soko Healthcare will review your inquiry and follow up to learn more. If a potentially relevant opportunity is identified, we can discuss possible next steps with you. An inquiry does not guarantee an interview or placement.
Link to this answerDoes an inquiry guarantee an interview or a job?
No. An inquiry begins a recruiting conversation; it is not an offer of employment. Interviews, hiring decisions, schedules, and employment terms are determined by the healthcare employer.
Link to this answerWho will my employer be?
The facility that hires you. Soko Healthcare introduces you to employers and coordinates interviews, but Soko is not your employer, does not pay you, and does not schedule or supervise your work. Your pay, benefits, schedule, and job offer come from the employer, and the employer completes its own licensure verification and credentialing.
Link to this answerDo I sign anything with Soko?
Yes. Before Soko introduces you to an employer, you sign Soko’s Nurse Referral and Placement Agreement. It is free: you never pay Soko anything. It confirms that the information you give is accurate, that Soko may share your résumé, license details, availability, and contact information with prospective employers, that Soko makes introductions and the employer hires you directly, that you will let Soko know within 3 days of an offer, acceptance, or start date from an employer Soko introduced you to, and that for one year you will not go around Soko to take a job with that employer. Soko does not guarantee interviews, offers, pay, or a job, and you decide which roles to pursue.
Link to this answerDo nurses pay a fee?
No. Soko Healthcare is paid by the employer. There is never a fee to the nurse.

What kinds of nursing opportunities may be available?
Opportunities depend on healthcare employers’ current needs. Soko Healthcare recruits for full-time and part-time direct-hire roles, where you are hired as the employer’s own employee. We do not recruit for per diem, travel, or shift work. A particular role, schedule, location, or specialty is not guaranteed.
Link to this answerAre both full-time and part-time roles considered?
Yes. Choose the preference that fits your current goals. Soko Healthcare does not offer per diem, travel, or short assignments. Actual schedules and employment terms depend on the employer and position.
Link to this answerWhat types of healthcare facilities may have opportunities?
Potential settings include hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, home care agencies, specialty care centers, and other healthcare environments. Current recruiting needs vary.
Link to this answerCan I inquire if I am relocating?
Yes. Share the area you are considering and your general preferences. Soko Healthcare can discuss potential opportunities, though coverage and availability are not guaranteed.
Link to this answerI have a compact or out-of-state license. Can I join?
Yes. Join now and tell us where you are with Florida licensure. A Florida or multistate (compact) license is required before we can introduce you to a facility, and we can line up roles for when it is active.

Who sees my résumé?
Soko Healthcare, and the prospective employers Soko introduces you to. When you sign Soko’s Nurse Referral and Placement Agreement, you authorize Soko to share your résumé, license and certification details, availability, and contact information with prospective employers to find you a role. We never contact your current employer unless you ask, and you decide which interviews and offers to pursue.
Link to this answerCan I attach my résumé?
Yes. The application accepts an optional résumé (PDF, DOC, or DOCX) and up to 3 copies of your nursing license and certifications (PDF, JPG, PNG, DOC, or DOCX), 5 MB each. Remove Social Security numbers, birth dates, and medical information before uploading.
Link to this answerWhat information should I avoid submitting?
Do not send Social Security numbers, birth dates, financial details, patient or medical information, identification documents such as a driver’s license or passport, or background-check information. Your answers, a résumé, and copies of your nursing license and certifications are enough to start.
Link to this answerHow is my information used?
Soko Healthcare may review your application and résumé, record appropriate details in Soko Healthcare’s recruiting database, contact you, and use the information to help identify potential opportunities. Read the Privacy Policy for more details.
