Why Soko exists

Nursing is a calling. Finding the right place to answer it shouldn’t be this hard.

Leah grew up in a family of medical professionals and built her own career in healthcare, first as a paramedic and then as a registered nurse.

When she moved from New York to Florida and went looking for her next nursing job, the search felt overwhelming and impersonal: plenty of listings, and no one asking what she actually wanted. The nurses she met had been through the same thing.

What was missing wasn’t jobs. It was someone on the nurse’s side who also understood what facilities need. Leah set out to be that person, and Soko Healthcare is the result.
